Shampooing often with Herbal Shampoo will help remove dead skin and old hairs. It will also cleanse the area of the sebaceous glands that secrete sebum.
 
Sebum is what the scalp secretes to lubricate hair shafts and the scalp.

Recommended usage: Moisten hair thoroughly with water. Apply shampoo and gently massage into scalp and hair. Allow shampoo to remain on hair for a short time to permit conditioning action. Rinse. Repeat if needed.
